Glassmasters, a manufacturer of MI Hummel stained glass, is internationally recognized for its creation of stained glass designs based on licensed museum artwork and replicas of original stained glass windows. Artisans painstakingly recreate the imagery by hand-applying translucent enamels to cathedral glass in a traditional process that involves applying one color at a time. The glass is then fired at temperatures exceeding 1100 degrees Fahrenheit, causing the enamels to become part of the glass.
